Yes. A business License is required to do business directly or indirectly in Canby. A business is described as:
1. Selling any goods or services.
2. Soliciting business or offering goods or services for sale or hire.
3. Use of any vehicle or premises in the city for business purposes.

As a self-employed business owner am I required to pay quarterly transit payroll taxes in addition to annual transit self-employment tax?
Possibly. If you have a business and do not declare yourself on payroll, you must pay the quarterly payroll tax on any payroll paid out to your employees. You will also need to pay the transit tax on your net self-employment earnings as reported on Federal Schedule SE. However, If you have been declaring yourself on payroll you have already been paying the tax and therefore do not need to file an annual self-employment return for transit.

When will my street be swept?
